Improving tax control and the regulation of renewable fuel for transport in Hungary

This project, which is being financed by the European Union, shares European practice on tax control in customs as well as European regulation on the use of biofuels and other renewable fuels for transport.

Experts from the Ministry of the Economy and Taxes, and of the Customs Branch of the Spanish Tax Agency, are helping Hungarian officials in two ways: to improve methods for managing and controlling special taxes and with tax regimes for biofuels and renewable energy for use in goods and passenger transport.
