During the closing ceremony, held at the International Conference Centre in Algiers, the Algerian Finance Minister, Abderrahmane Raouya, emphasized the project’s significant contribution to the implementation of a multi–year programme and to the development of risk maps, thus improving internal control and informing better the institution’s decision-making processes.
At the ceremony, the Algerian, Spanish and European Union authorities highlighted the importance of the achievements made, and the need to preserve and strengthen them.
Experts from several Spanish institutions participated throughout the project: the institutions involved included the Institute of Fiscal Studies, the General Intervention Board of the State Administration, the State Tax Administration Agency and other experts from the General Council of the Judiciary, the Court of Audit and the French Inspectorate General of Finance.
