Trafficking in human beings and smuggling of migrants are crimes that move millions of euros worldwide, putting human lives at risk. They are a growing source of concern for Mauritania, opposite the Canary Islands. We are talking about the POC Mauritania project, which aims to combat irregular immigration networks and trafficking in human beings.

31/05/2023 Indigenous women and gender-based violence in Paraguay

Paraguay is one of the countries in the region with the most alarming figures on gender-based violence. The country is home to almost 500 indigenous communities, but there are no statistics on violence against indigenous women. The European Support Programme for the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Paraguay promotes dialogue between indigenous women and the state to make their reality visible and “leave no one behind”.
