CBRN (33) threats project: African countries

This European Commission project on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) security supports the beneficiary countries in identifying needs and learning about international experience in this area. FIIAPP is collaborating in its development.

The project will also analyse how the beneficiary countries can adapt to international obligations relative to mitigating CBRN threats, including border control in the fight against illicit trafficking in materials. In its 36 months of duration, it will also provide incident-response techniques to the specialised agencies responsible for controlling CBRN materials in each country
