European support for special anti-drug forces in enforcing the law

For a period of almost three years, members of the Civil Guard and the National Police Force will provide technical training to officers in Bolivian institutions in the fight against drug trafficking and related offences.

The project seeks to adapt Bolivian legislation in line with the action plan to combat drug trafficking and reduce coca cultivation.

The project is funded with 4 million Euros from the European Commission and AECID, the State Agency for International Development Cooperation, and is administered by the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP).
