The European Union (UE) is supporting Peru in its national programme to fight drug trafficking. A FIIAPP-led project has been developed to support the Peruvian government within the framework of budgetary activities in support of the National Anti-Drug Strategy (ENCLD) by various specialised European public institutions.
The project, with a duration of 40 months, will implement a specialised training and technical assistance programme to improve capacities for interdiction and punishment of crimes related to drug trafficking by means of police actions in airports and seaports, strengthening the intelligence structure and criminal investigations.
