SEACOP I: Port Cooperation Programme

Fighting against maritime drug trafficking and crime networks in Western Africa. In this project lead by FIIAPP, assistance will be provided to create units that specialise in Intelligence and Investigation at maritime ports or in sensitive coastal areas; the coast guards will be strengthened through training and supplying drug detection resources; support will be given to create a regional intelligence centre that facilitates coordination between the police in these countries; and the possibility of creating a regional information system will be studied.
