    Croatia became a member of the EU on 1st July 2013. The International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) has helped the country with this integration in 21 cooperation projects since 1998. The European Commission financed 81% of these projects, with the most representative of these being the twinning programme for reform and modernization of government agencies in areas such as health, social security, justice, fisheries and food, economy (commerce, tourism and statistics), the environment and the fight against corruption.
